For Sale: 1971 Datsun 240Z in Mill Valley, California

Vehicle Description

This is a beautiful Series 1 240Z in great condition!  It's got a rebuilt L24 with 47k on it and it runs very well--I used it as a daily driver for about 3 months.  The transmission is the standard manual 4 speed.  The door cards were just replaced with reproduction models.  The dash is a brand new reproduction and looks completely identical to factory spec. The center console was restored to look brand new by Just Dashes down in SoCal.  The car was repainted at some point and the paint is crazing and chipping in a couple areas, but overall is in good shape. It was involved in a fender bender at some point in its history but the only evidence is some visual unevenness on the interior of the passenger wheel well, and is only visible with the hood open.  I've attached an image. The seats and carpet have been recently reupholstered.
Car has new dash and console installed.  All the under-dash bulbs were replaced.  Stock (not functional) clock was removed but I still have it.  I've got a new rally clock from Zclocks but have not installed it.  During its last oil change, the speedometer cable connector broke from old age at the transmission.  The mechanic didn't have the part on hand but it is an easy, cheap fix.  I also have purchased a new clutch plate to replace the current, aging one along with a new Fidanza lightweight flywheel. Both are brand new, in package but not installed.
