example of the R107 Roadster series by Mercedes Benz, epitomizing
the grace and luxury of early 80's German engineering. Produced
from 1973 until 1980, the 450SL features the 4.5-litre V-8 engine
offering a top speed of 135 mph and presents a harmonious courtship
of understated prestige with sporty flamboyance. In fact, the R107
roadster body style represents the second longest single series
ever produced by the automaker, after the G-Class. This car
represents one of few 450SLs delivered directly to the US for sale
during the model's final year. Sporting the muscular 4.5 Liter V8
engine with Bosch fuel injection and an automatic transmission,
this removable black hard top/ black soft top convertible makes
driving an absolute blast! This is thought to be a 2-owner vehicle
(although not documented) per the current owner, and she has
lovingly cared for it for the last 15 years. The Becker Mexico
