1979 Euro Porsche.Car was made in 79 but titled in 82. Have the letter from Germany. 54,000 miles on the car. Motor 273 CI V-8 5 speed trans. New Perelli p-6000 tires on telephone dial wheels. S-4 Spoiler. Headlights have been removed from fender. Replaced with headlight kit in bumper. No Rust or dents very clean. Interior is clean seats are fair. Pioneer Premier stereo. Needs A C comp. 9 repair manuals.
The Porsche 928 was a sports-GT car sold by Porsche AG of Germany from 1978 to 1995. Originally intended to replace the companys iconic 911, the 928 combined the power, poise, and handling of a sports car with the refinement, comfort, and equipment of a luxury sedan to create what some Porsche executives thought would be a vehicle with wider appeal than the compact, quirky and sometimes difficult 911.
Since its inception in 1949, Porsche has manufactured only six front-engined models, four of which were coupes, including the 928. The car has the distinction of being the companys only coupe powered by a front-mounted V8 engine, and the companys first mass-produced V8 powered model.
During 1983 the 928S was the fastest car sold in USA, with a top speed of 146 mph (235 km/h)
