1927 Ford Model T Touring Convertible This is a rare original ford steel body, frame off build. The custom frame has been powder coated black, the body and all painted parts have been sand blasted and are completed in Ferrari Corsa Red, fenders and running boards have been widened 2 to provide a wider stance with torque thrust 2 custom rims 10 rear, 6 front. Power plant is a 289 ford v8 balanced and ported with a mild cam coupled to a fresh c4 transmission. The Jaguar rear end has been chromed and detailed w custom designed taillights, ceramic coated exhaust system and chrome headers, new brake and cooling systems with all stainless steel lines on the brake system. All new electrical system with an EZ wiring harness, self resetting breakers no fuses, new gauges, turn signals, MSD IGNITION and installation of a main power cut-off switch. The original T steering column has been chromed and modified to swing in for ease of entry. The undercarriage has been detailed and a Carson top completes the package. This is a virtually flawless car built to show and is a pleasure to drive. It won first place at the 2008 Pamona Grand National Roadster show in January. The car was purchased in October of 2002 incomplete and in pieces. Work did not begin until may of 2003 and was completed in April of 2007. Actual build time was proximately 4 years. The machine work on the motor was completed by Dave Hiatt Machine in Clovis, CA., The chrome work by Clovis Specialty Plating in Fresno, CA., The custom interior was completed by DS Upholstery Madera, Ca. This is one of the rare ones of which few originals have survived. So unique that usable steel front fenders could not be found at the time of the build so glass front fenders were installed.
