1949 Dodge Coronet Coupe I am the second owner of this car the first family purchased it in 1949 I purchased it from them in 2004 in all original driving condition It had 40.000 miles on the odometer. with 140.000 miles on the car The body was in great shape The car was 80 all working condition and was a blast to drive around I decided to clean it up and shortly after the body was off the frame and sandblasted NO RUST found Behind all fenders. hood and in cab and truck was sprayed with a high quality bed liner to stop chips. paint staring also making it quieter and less likely to ever rust We rebuilt the motor. added new brakes. and cleaned the frame After some body work the car got a beautiful paint job The white top has blue pearl and is amazing in the sun. the blue has a ton of blue ice and pearl making it also dance in the sun There is new glass on the front and rear The interior is all new and looks great. the radio was shipped out to be rewired. and is now stereo am fm Also has a 10 disc CD changer all hidden and controlled by the original AM radio and has a powered antenna The car is rewired 12 volt with halogen lights to make this a safer driver The motor was completely rebuilt to better than original. very clean and matching engine compartment accents to car This vehicle is a Fluid Drive Transmission. 3 Speed on the colum. with a clutch and also an independent foot converter so that this vehicle can be driven as a manual or automatic The trunk is carpeted and looks as clean as the interior with a new matching spare white wall to match others The grill is a new NOS part. and so is some of the trim The bumpers are in good shape. but I would like to re chrome them A couple pieces of the stainless are not 100 but look great The car was finished 3 1 2008 and only has 150 miles on a complete restoration The car was not built as a show car. it was done with the idea of driving it and enjoying it It does not need a trailer It loves the road on its own tires. and letting others stare at it The car has been to one car show so far. and people loved it We are planning to get it in to more than 10 to 15 shows this year if we have time or if we still have it I have other nice cars and trucks that I put into car shows. and I am parting with this one You can only drive one at a time. right Vehicle located in Great Falls.
