1966 Buick Skylark Here is an exceptionally solid and original 1966 Buick Skylark. The car was purchased in Virginia and it looks like a southern car should. No salt damage with little or no rust anywhere. Body, frame, floor pans and trunk all in great condition. Car lives in a garage and never comes out in winter. Powered by the original 300 Wildcat 310 motor with a 2bbl Rochester on it, good for around 265 H.P., this car runs strong and is good on gas. It has a 2-speed Turbine 300 Transmission with shifter on the column and it goes through the gears like it should. Lots of low-end torque Engine does not leak or smoke. The paint is Apollo White with Red interior and they are both around a 7 on a scale of 1-10. It always gets attention at the car shows. There are some flaws in the interior, such as cracks on the steering wheel and dash, and the headliner has stitching that has come loose in two spots. The only thing non-original about this car is the Kenwood CD Player and Pioneer Speakers which work well and sound great. Has detachable face plate and remote. All lights and gauges function properly. It has a new 4-core radiator and a new single-chamber master cylinder powering drum brakes all around - car stops very well Four nice Kelly tires with plenty of tread life remaining on original Buick sport wheels. The car comes with the original Buick Electroplate Booklet and Manual. You won t be disappointed with this Buick. It s a solid driver with no mechanical issues. Vehicle located in Yonkers, NY.
