Description

1956 Chevrolet 210 Post
52,000 original miles and lots of attention to detail. This original 265, 3-speed with over-drive car is still intact with original radio, stainless trim, floor pans, trunk pan, bumpers, and sheet metal. This car has very impressive paint and outstanding fit and finish. Interior is a mixture of gray cloth and leather with classy look. Door panels and headliner are leather with new dash trim and retractable seat belts in the front and lap belts in the back. This 265 was built to stock specifications with re-worked heads and original manifolds. Aluminum exhaust, running to turbos, gives the car a deep tone with a quite engine. The intake is from a 1965 Impala Super Sport and has a 600 Edelbrock manual choke carburetor. New belts, hoses, plugs, wires, and electrical ignition make this care very dependable. An over sized aluminum radiator was also added for cooling. The front-end has been re-built with all new parts including a new sway bar. To keep the original spindles, bolt-on disc brakes were used on the front. Rear drums were re-built and the car handles tight and stops great. A custom stereo system with a remote has been installed in the glove box. The tuner is a Pioneer Premier CD player with IPOD, MP3, and satellite radio capabilities. The original AM radio is still in the dash and has been re-built and also works. Front speakers are installed in a custom box to preserve door panels. Rear 6 by 9 Pioneer speakers with a 400 watt amp are located in the rear window. Tucked tightly in the trunk is a 1200 watt sub box with 2 10 inch Pioneer subs. The trunk is well taken care of. It has an original look with rubber mat. Wheels and tires make this car a real head turner. Billet specialty wheels were chosen for a custom look. Nitto 555 tires are mounted on 17 by 7 front wheels and 17 by 8 rear wheels. These wheels and tires have less than 500 miles. This car is an excellent example of a well-pampered survivor. It rides and drives like a dream. This car was restored without re-sale in mind and no expense was spared. Since restoration, the car has been in a climate controlled garage, resulting in rust-free bolts, hinges, and springs. All reasonable offers considered. No disappointments guaranteed For more information, you may call James at 865 740-7919.
