This Speedster #83633 was sold new in California and retains its original black license plates. This 365A Speedster was purchased by European Collectibles from an older woman who was the long term owner since the mid 1980’s.
It was purchased by European Collectible on behalf of one of their very good clients who commissioned them to perform a full restoration to 100 point show standards. The restoration took nearly 2 years to complete.
The 356 was stripped down to the bare shell, and being a California car it had minimal rust. The body and all the panels are original to the car and still retain their correct stampings/numbers. All panels were pre-fit with bumpers, windshield frame and top to ensure the absolute best result. The complete driveline was rebuilt, engine, transmission, suspension, braking system, wire harness and fuel system. All the chrome is triple plated, all the components are OEM or NOS.
No color was listed on the Certificate of Authenticity or Cardex so the car was painted in a beautifully original Porsche color of Stone Grey and was fitted with a Red leather interior.
The car is being sold with full tools, books and photo documentation of the restoration. Absolutely superb in every way, this 356A Speedster is ready for immediate road or concours use.
