At 22 years of age he became a salesman for Rolls-Royce and other equally exotic marques. His memory of helping to sell Elvis Presley a new Phantom Five Rolls-Royce was a high point of that era (Elvis's most expensive auto purchase). Later he went on to import vintage British marques and opened an exotic car lot on Sunset boulevard in Hollywood, CA, catering to the Hollywood, elite such as Steve McQueen, Sonny and Cher, some of the Beachboys, and even Charlie Manson! There was also a short involvement in sports car racing with Cal Club (S.C.C.A.) in a then ancient Lotus, and then again made a move to the slower-paced beach city of Santa Barbara, CA. Now in a semi-retirement mode, vehicles are now shown by appointment only.
