I was 9 years old and at the family homestead in Loveland, Colorado. My uncle owned a 1951 Stude Champion. I hounded him to drive it around the 150 acres. He finally consented and I promptly drove it into the creek.

My driving career was abruptly ended for the next seven years...

Then last year I saw this beautiful Starlight coupe at the Portland Oregon Swap Meet and bought it immediately. It now resides with my 1951 Pontiac and I love them both dearly.
