LAS VEGAS – Oct. 9, 2009 - Barrett-Jackson Auction Company LLC, host of “The World’s Greatest Collector Car Auctions™” in Scottsdale, Ariz., Palm Beach, Fla., and Las Vegas, announced today they have signed a letter of intent with the OC Fair & Event Center to add a fourth event to the company’s annual auction lineup. The event will take place either June 25-27 or July 1-3, 2010, at the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa, Calif. More details will be released soon.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Oct. 6, 2009 - Some serious star power fuels excitement at the 2nd Annual Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas Collector Car Auction, where Bruce Willis and Don Johnson will sell vehicles from their private collections; and the “Father of the Mustang,” Lee Iacocca, will provide an exclusive chance to own one of only 45 limited edition Ford Mustangs. In a special charity auction, legendary TV host Jay Leno will donate proceeds from the sale of a one-of-a kind Yamaha motorcycle to Bailey’s Café, an arts education program based in Brooklyn, NY.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – August 5, 2009 - Two American racing legends, Carroll Shelby and Don “The Snake” Prudhomme, will be on stage when Barrett-Jackson Auction Company and Shelby Automobiles, a wholly owned subsidiary of Carroll Shelby International Inc. (CSBI.PK), sell the original concept car for the Prudhomme Edition Super Snake Shelby GT500 Mustang on Oct.

The Barrett-Jackson Auction Company recorded more than $20 million in total sales and delivered its trademark excitement during the 7th Annual Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach Collector Car Auction April 9-11, 2009. The all No Reserve auction featured an eclectic docket, including the “Project American Heroes” 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS custom that fetched $500,000 to benefit the Armed Forces Foundation and a classic 1934 Auburn 1250 Salon Cabriolet that brought $253,000, as well as a group of vehicles from the General Motors Heritage fleet.

The Barrett-Jackson Auction Company exceeded industry-wide expectations by recording more than $63 million in sales last week during the 38th annual Scottsdale auction. From Jan. 11-18, 2009, the all No Reserve auction featured an eclectic offering, including a 1929 Ford 4-AT-E Tri-Motor airplane that sold for $1.21 million and the “first production” 1955 Ford Thunderbird that fetched $660,000. Despite an uncertain economy, numerous Barrett-Jackson records were set, including $220,000 for a 1959 Chevrolet Corvette convertible, $250,000 for a 50th Anniversary Hurst Performance 2008 Dodge Viper and $137,500 for a 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302 fastback.

Five rare Yenko muscle cars from a celebrated collection will be sold at No Reserve during the 38th Annual Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction in Scottsdale, Ariz., Jan. 11-18, 2009. For the first time, four Yenko Camaros and a Yenko Nova from the Gary Holub Collection (Lot #’s 1276-1278) will be offered to the public. The 1947 Steyr-Allard racer owned by the legendary Sydney Allard, one of America's greatest automotive pioneers, will be sold at No Reserve during the 38th Annual Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction in Scottsdale, Ariz., Jan. 11-18, 2009. Considered the most famous of all Allards, the race car captured victories worldwide and blazed a path followed by American heroes like Carroll Shelby and Briggs Cunningham.
