This 1955 Ford F100 Custom Cab is an exceptionally nice, frame off
restored truck. The restoration was finished 7-8 years ago and has
been babied and used very little since then. There are only around
1,000 miles on this truck since being restored. This was a
professional restoration and it looks awesome. Everything on this
truck was new or rebuilt when restored and it also has some cool
upgrades. We have a folder full of receipts totalling over $20,000
for parts alone. This truck runs and drives really nice. This is a
Custom Cab so it had all of the extras like: dual sun visors, dual
arm rests, inside door panels, driver side outside lock,
chrome/stainless roof gutter trim, interior chrome on dash, chrome
gull wings on 55 grille, stainless trim around rear windows, extra
padding on seats, dome light, and custom cab emblems on doors.
This truck was completely redone and is very detailed. The body on
this truck is amazing. It is super straight and clean. It is an all
steel truck. It was professionally repainted in the color of
Rootbeer Brown Metallic and the paint is gorgeous. The bed floor is
done in Oak with stainless strips. All of the chrome and stainless
is in excellent condition. The underside of the trucks looks
amazing. There are no rust issues with this truck.
The interior is also restored and beautiful. The truck currently
has a more comfortable and restored seat from a more later model
truck, but it also has the original seat that was also completely
redone (see pics) that will come with the truck. The last owner
kept the seat that is in it now because he felt it was more
comfortable for him. The carpet, headliner, door panels, dash
bezel, knobs, and switches were all new and replaced when
restored...everything is still excellent. The headlights,
taillights, brake lights, and turn signals are all working. The
wipers work and they are updated to electric 2 speed wipers. The
horn and heat also work. This truck also had all new glass, seals,
and weatherstripping installed.
Mechanically this truck is top notch and it runs and drives
wonderful. Everything was rebuilt or replaced when restored. The
engine is the 239 V8 that was completely rebuilt in April of 2024
(have receipts). It was rebuilt to stock specifications and it runs
and sounds great! It has the 3 speed manual transmission that
shifts nice with a strong clutch that was new when the engine was
restored. The rear end is a Dana 44 with 3.92 gears. This is sall
sitting on some cool Baby Moon wheels with Cooper Cobra tires.
Other upgrades include a power steering conversion, power brake
conversion including complete brake system being replaced, and a
cool lowering kit with all new suspension (lowered 4" in rear and 3
" in front). This is a very well built and beautiful truck that
will make the next owner very happy.
