First, we will start with the exterior of this El Camino. We can see that this car has a beautiful dark blue base coat with a very glossy clear coat to tie it all together. Looking at both the front and rear bumpers we can see that they were replaced at the time of the restoration and are in excellent condition. We can see that this vehicle also has the iconic cowl induction hood and wipers. As we look down the side of the vehicle, we can see that the body is laser straight and all the gaps are symmetrical and even. All the trim is in great condition and what has not been replaced has been polished to match. The bed is in excellent condition and has a color matched bedliner. All the glass is in great condition and the side windows and rear windshield are original as the factory Safety Flolite stamp is still visible. The front windshield was replaced at the time of the restoration. We can also see that this vehicle has a brand-new set of Billet Specialty Wheels on all 4 corners. We have an 18x8 in the front and a 20x9 in the rear, these have been paired with a set of Cooper tires. Up front we have a 245/45/ZR18 and a 245/45/ZR20 in the rear to give this El Camino an aggressive stance while still maintaining that iconic muscle car style.
Next, we will move onto the interior of this vehicle. We can see as we open the door that the door locks work and we have door edge moldings on both sides. On the driver's side we have a very nice chrome mirror. Looking at the door panels we can see that they are new, but they still retain the original window crank handles. As we take a seat, we can see that the seats have been replaced and are in excellent condition and very comfortable. We notice that the carpet and seals have been replaced and are in great condition. When looking ahead of us we can see that the factory SS Steering wheel was left in the vehicle during the restoration. The Factory Super Sport Package gauges are still in the vehicle and working as they should. We can also see that the dash has been replaced and is in excellent with no cracks. We have a digital knob radio that still has the plastic on it included. This vehicle does have Vintage Heat and AC and all the ac controls are in the factory location. Both visors have been replaced along with the headliner, surrounding trim and the interior lights have been replaced. The vehicle has a Day and Night rearview mirror included. We can also see that this vehicle still has the original Console with the Horseshoe Shifter. The center console lid is not cracked and works properly. We also have the factory ash tray still in the vehicle which is very uncommon to find anymore.
Lastly, we will get to the heartbeat of this El Camino. We have a 454 v8 that has the stamp code 3999289 on the block. This has been paired with a very nice Demon 4-barrel Carburetor and a Wieand Intake. We can see the new polished valve covers along with the new polished wire looms to keep this engine bay neat and clean. We also have a nice, polished aluminum front runner kit along with all the pulleys being polished as well. We have a very nice, polished aluminum radiator and electric fans as well. We have a set of Super Competition Hooker Headers that are 2 and a half inches with a set of flow master mufflers. The vehicle has disc brakes up front and drums in the rear. This 454 has been paired with a 400 Turbo Transmission and a 12-bolt rear end with Posi Track. If you are looking for the ultimate muscle car that will turn heads and still have the practicality of a pickup truck, then this is the vehicle you are looking for.
