Vehicle Description
Welcome to Street Dreams as we celebrate our 25th year in the
classic and muscle car business. The original Fiat 500 Topolino, or
Little Mouse, was a beloved small city car that was manufactured
from 1936 to 1955. As the Topolino was woven into Italian culture,
the pressure was on at Fiat to come up with a successful
replacement for their stylish mouse. Their response was the Nuova
500, a remarkably advanced city car sporting unibody construction
and a fully independent suspension. This, for an inexpensive
economy car in 1957! Dubbed the Cinquecento, or 500 in Italian,
this little overachiever quickly earned a loyal following that the
new version still enjoys to this day. This stunning 1971 Fiat 500L
clearly demonstrates the charming virtues that this fixture of
Italian culture possesses. Lift the hood of this rear-engined
wonder and you'll be staring at 479cc's of pure Italian thunder!
Additional features include a 4-speed manual transmission, a large
sunroof, and 125R12 tires wrapped around correct steel wheels with
correct covers. This L model, for Lusso or Luxury, sports extra
chrome, an upgraded interior, and carpeting. This beautifully
restored little jewel is an absolutely amazing attention getter and
smile generator. Please note the outstanding condition of the
chassis in the images provided. Impressive. Also impressive is the
fact that I am 6'5 tall and I can drive this car comfortably! One
more amazing collectible from the Texas Hill Country's premier
source for classic cars and the team that can make your dream a
reality. Street Dreams (830-997-1950) is a full service dealership
