Are there any Oldsmobile fans out there? This car is a true beauty
and brings back the essence of what made Oldsmobile one of the most
powerful muscle cars back in the day. If you're familiar with the
name Mondello, you'll know he is the ultimate Oldsmobile expert.
This particular 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass has been transformed into a
442 W-30 Clone, which certainly doesn't disappoint.
At first glance, you can see that this car has the famous hood and
red inner fender wells that 442's are renowned for, but it doesn't
stop there! Beneath the hood, there's an Olds 455 Big Block that
has been transformed into a 475 and features a pair of Edelbrock
heads that have been expertly customized by Mondello, as well as a
set of Modello Aluminum valve covers. This powerful engine is
paired with a TH400 that can handle anything you throw at it and
deliver the power to the ground with a 12 Bolt rear end with posi
traction. This car isn't just about power; it also has a stunning
appearance. Open the door, and you'll notice a classy black vinyl
bench seat, black carpeting, wood grain on the dash and door
panels, and a set of Dakota Digital gauges that greet you as you
turn the key. To complete the look, the car features a set of
Oldsmobile Super Stock 1 wheels, giving it that classic and
nostalgic feel everyone loves!
