1987 Fiero GT- 33,000 original miles. 135-horsepower, 2.8-liter multiport fuel-injected V-6 is 100 percent original with no rebuild. Current owner had for the past year, previous owner installed the following: New water pump, radiator, fuel pump, strainer/filter, fuel-pressure regulator diaphragm, and injectors were installed. The gas tank was cleaned, the A/C system was converted to R-134a, and the compressor was replaced. The engine also received a full tune up including replacement of all spark plugs. The engine runs great, and there are no leaks. The three-speed automatic transmission shifts smoothly.
The GT’s fully-independent WS6 suspension retains all of its original equipment and is in very good working condition.. Also from previous owner, the brake rotors, pads, calipers, and lines are new, and 205/60R15 Goodyear Assurance tires with near new tread depth, on the factory 15 x 7 aluminum wheels. No play in the manual steering. Car rides, handles, and stops great.
There are two chips on the back bumper, a small scuff on the ground effect behind the rear passenger tire, scuff under front ground effect, and a chip by the radio antenna, but for a 35-year-old car, the paint is still shiny and looks great.
The manual sunroof is in perfect working condition, there are no scratches or chips in the windshield, side windows or rear glass, and no water leaks. New headlight motors were installed, and every exterior light works as it should.
INTERIOR
All of the instruments, the AM/FM/cassette stereo, A/C, heater, and power windows and mirrors work as they should. The power lock motors work, however, the locks themselves are hard to slide forward and backwards and probably need lubrication. There are no tears in the cloth upholstery, very little wear in the carpet, and the headliner is in good condition. A trunk cover and Fiero-logoed ashtrays were added, but the original unused ashtrays are included in the sale.
