This 1990 Jeep Grand Wagoneer is very nice and clean Woody that
spent its life in California and the Carolinas before we acquired
it. We sold it a couple of years ago to a customer in Illinois who
used it for a summer toy. This is a very well cared for Jeep that
recently had a lot of mechanical work done to it to make it a
reliable driver. The body on this Jeep is clean and it was
repainted at some point in its original color of Sand Metallic. The
paint is nice and presents well. The Vinyl Woodgrain inserts are
still original and in nice condition but do have some fading. All
of the chrome and stainless on this vehicle is still in great
condition and the underside is also very clean. The underside is
absolutely rust free and was completely wire wheeled by the last
owner who owns a detail shop. We found no rust issues on this Grand
Wagoneer. The interior is very clean and appears to be original.
Sometime along the line the center seat was removed and it now has
a Center Console was installed which is very handy. The center
console can easily be removed and you will have just bucket seats.
A new headliner was recently installed as well and is in perfect
condition. This Jeep has working Power Windows and Locks, Tilt,
Power Mirrors, and AC. The AC was recently completely replaced and
charged. All of the lights, blinkers, tail lights are working. The
gauges all work and also wipers and heat. The Horn was not working.
The overhead console display is not working and the power locks are
a little sticky sometimes which is pretty common. This is a very
stock and original interior (except for radio and center console)
in great shape.
Mechanically this Grand wagoneer is excellent and it runs and
drives excellent as well. It has a fully rebuilt 360 V8 engine with
new pistons, rods, crank, rings, bearings, cam, lifters, timing
chain, and oil pump. This was a complete rebuild and we have
receipts and it has less than 5,000 miles on the rebuild. (The
vehicle odometer shows 177,752 miles). The engine runs strong and
smooth. It recently also had a new Carburetor installed and a new
radiator installed. The transmission is the 727 Automatic that
shifts nice and it is mated to the np229 Transfer Case. The 4WD
works as it should. The transmission was also rebuilt around 1,000
miles ago and we do have the receipt. This rig has the factory tow
package. Both Axles are Dana 44's with 3.31 Gears. These Woodys are
such nice riding trucks and this one would make a great every day
driver or weekend cruiser. Some other recent work done to this
truck includes tune up with new spark plugs, new differential seal,
brakes, shocks, and alignment (have receipts).
We drive what we sell so that we can give you a first hand and
accurate report on how the vehicle runs and drives. Our pictures
are never touched up or photoshopped. What you see is an accurate
representation of the vehicle. We take consistent pictures and show
you everything so you can get a true representation of the
vehicle.
