fifth-generation Mustang, coded "S197" had a vision from the top of
the chain to be a "retro-futurism" model and most would say that
goal was achieved.
This 2014 Ford Mustang GT Premium left the factory with a good bit
of options and was taken to the next level. The legendary Coyote
engine produced 420bhp for the 2014 year and this example has a
healthy bump to that number. Full long tube headers and Ford Racing
stainless steel exhaust allow the Coyote to breathe while an Airaid
intake system sucks in the atmosphere. A custom SCT tune keeps
everything in order while custom camshafts and Ford Racing lifters
add some durability to an already excellent engine. Enhancements to
this GT Premium carry to the suspension where custom Ford Racing
suspension has been fitted. A front strut bar from Ford Racing was
also added for stability to the nose. The factory-optioned Brembo
Brake Package brings this beast to a rest and Nitto performance
tires wrap around Niche wheels to grip the pavement. A pedal
commander gives the operator the choice to grip and rip or save
what gas he or she can.... We prefer the former.
The cockpit is nicely trimmed with sport bucket leather trim
seating. A 6-way power driver seat ensures you can find a
comfortable position while gripping the leather wrapped steering
wheel equipped with cruise control and tilt. A Shaker audio system
keeps your ears happy when the harmonious Coyote isn't singing. A
freshly installed A/C Compressor cools the cabin temperature for
those cruises in the upcoming months.
